Privacy Policy
This policy covers cathodos.com, the public marketing site. The authenticated application (app.cathodos.com) is governed by its own in-product agreement.
What we collect
- Launch-notification email. If you submit your email to be notified at launch, we store that address and the time you submitted it. Nothing else.
- First-party usage counts. We record anonymous page-view counts on our own servers — which page, when, and a coarse referrer — to understand traffic by hour, day, and week. We do not set advertising cookies, build cross-site profiles, or use Google Analytics or any third-party tracker.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting (AWS CloudFront) records request metadata such as IP address and user agent for security and reliability, retained on a rolling short-term basis.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don't share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
- We don't load third-party tracking scripts on this site.
How we use it
The signup email is used only to contact you about Cathodos availability and updates. Usage counts are used in aggregate to improve the site. We use reputable infrastructure providers (e.g. AWS) to host and operate the service; they process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Retention
We keep your signup email until you ask us to remove it or it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it. Aggregate usage counts are retained without personal identifiers.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold about you. To do so, contact us using the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
